Terms & Conditions
Timber ’N Trap T&C
By making a reservation, purchasing admission, or participating in an experience at Timber ’N Trap, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Reservations & Payment

Reservations are subject to availability. Full payment is required at the time of online booking unless otherwise stated.

Standard escape room reservations are sold per player. Unless a Private Rental is purchased, your reservation does not guarantee exclusive use of the escape room. Remaining available spots may be reserved by other guests.

Each escape room has a maximum capacity of six (6) players per session.

Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Because reservations hold limited spots that could otherwise be booked by other guests, the following policy applies:

24 hours or more before your scheduled reservation: You may cancel for a full refund or reschedule at no additional charge.

12–24 hours before your scheduled reservation: Reservations are non-refundable but may be rescheduled one time or converted to booking credit.

Less than 12 hours before your scheduled reservation: Reservations are non-refundable. Rescheduling or booking credit may be offered at Timber ’N Trap's discretion.

No-Shows: No-shows are non-refundable and are not eligible for booking credit.

Refunds, when approved, will generally be returned to the original payment method.

Changes in Group Size

Reductions in the number of participants are subject to the same cancellation and refund terms above.

For example, if six spots are reserved but only four participants attend without providing the required notice, the two unused admissions are not eligible for a refund or credit.
Additional participants may be added only when space remains available and the room's maximum capacity has not been reached.

Arrival & Late Arrivals
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow time for check-in, waivers, rules, and your pre-game briefing.

Escape rooms operate on a schedule. Late arrivals may have their available gameplay time reduced to prevent delays to subsequent reservations.

Guests arriving excessively late may be unable to participate and may be treated as a no-show. Refunds are not provided for time lost due to late arrival.

Age

There is no minimum age to participate; however, Timber ’N Trap escape room experiences are recommended for ages 10 and older due to puzzle difficulty, themes, and the nature of the experiences.

Children and minors remain the responsibility of their parent, guardian, or supervising adult while on the premises.

Gameplay & Safety

Guests must follow all instructions provided by Timber ’N Trap employees and Game Masters.
Our escape rooms are designed to be interactive, but excessive force is never required to solve a puzzle.

Guests should not climb on furniture or structures, forcibly open locks, remove permanently installed objects, access restricted areas, or manipulate electrical, safety, fire-protection, or building equipment.

If something does not move or open easily, please ask your Game Master for assistance.

Damage to Property

Normal wear and accidental damage resulting from reasonable, intended gameplay are understood to be part of operating an interactive experience.

Guests may, however, be held financially responsible for damage resulting from intentional acts, reckless behavior, excessive force, misuse of equipment or props, or failure to follow staff instructions.

Timber ’N Trap reserves the right to seek reimbursement for reasonable repair or replacement costs resulting from such damage.

Guest Conduct

Timber ’N Trap reserves the right to refuse admission or end an experience when a guest's behavior creates a safety concern, interferes with other guests, damages property, or substantially disrupts the operation of the business.

This includes, but is not limited to, threatening or abusive behavior, intentional destruction of property, unsafe conduct, harassment, or participation while excessively intoxicated or otherwise impaired.

Guests removed for such behavior are not entitled to a refund or booking credit.

Leaving an Experience

Guests are never required to remain inside an escape room.

A participant may leave an experience at any time. However, refunds will not be issued because a participant voluntarily leaves, chooses not to continue, or is unable to complete the experience after gameplay has begun.

If an experience must be interrupted or ended due to a medical emergency, fire alarm, evacuation, power outage, or other unforeseen circumstance, the safety of our guests and staff will always take priority. Timber ’N Trap will make reasonable efforts to resume or reschedule the experience when appropriate. Refunds, booking credits, or rescheduling may be offered based on the circumstances and the amount of gameplay completed. Experiences that are substantially completed may not be eligible for a refund or complimentary rescheduling.

Phones, Photography & Recording

Photography, video recording, or other recording of escape room puzzles, solutions, props, or gameplay is prohibited unless specifically authorized by Timber ’N Trap.

This protects the experience from being spoiled for future players.

Video Surveillance & Recording
Â
For the safety and security of our guests, employees, property, and escape room experiences, video surveillance is in use throughout designated areas of Timber ’N Trap, including inside escape rooms. Video may also be used by Game Masters to monitor gameplay, provide assistance, and ensure guest safety and compliance with game rules.

Recordings may be retained and reviewed for security, safety, incident investigation, damage claims, theft prevention, and other legitimate business purposes. Timber ’N Trap will not use surveillance footage for advertising, promotional, or social media purposes without appropriate permission.

Audio recording, if any, will be conducted only as permitted by applicable law.

Food & Beverages

Unless specifically authorized, food and beverages are not permitted inside escape rooms.

Separate policies may apply to designated event or party areas.

Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting Timber ’N Trap.

Timber ’N Trap is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or damaged personal property except where responsibility is imposed by applicable law.

Cancellations by Timber ’N Trap

Occasionally, circumstances such as equipment failure, facility issues, staffing emergencies, severe weather, or other unforeseen conditions may require Timber ’N Trap to cancel an experience.

If Timber ’N Trap cancels your reservation and cannot provide the purchased experience, you may choose to reschedule, receive booking credit, or receive a full refund.

Severe Weather

Alaska weather and road conditions can change rapidly.

When significant weather or unsafe travel conditions occur, Timber ’N Trap may allow reservations to be rescheduled outside the normal cancellation window at our discretion.

If Timber ’N Trap closes due to weather, affected customers will be offered rescheduling, booking credit, or a full refund.

Assumption of Risk & Participant Waivers

Escape rooms involve movement through an interactive environment and interaction with furniture, props, puzzles, locks, and other objects.

Participation is voluntary. Guests are expected to follow staff instructions and exercise reasonable care.

Additional participant waivers may be required before entering an escape room. Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions when purchasing a reservation does not replace any separately required participant waiver.

Changes to These Terms

Timber ’N Trap may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to a reservation will be those in effect at the time of booking, except where changes are required by law or for safety reasons.
